Not their screwup, the browser's.

The first time I looked I "drove" perpendicular to that part of the sign and looked straight across, and it looked like the installers overlapped the left over the right, cutting off some of "THE" and ".ORG".

Turns out it was a photo tiling glitch in Google Maps.
