Looks like Zimmerman is going back to the slammer

Trayvon Martin's shooter must return to jail, a judge ordered Friday in a strongly worded ruling that said George Zimmerman and his wife lied to the court about their finances to obtain bond in a case that hinges on jurors believing his account of what happened the night the teen was killed.

Could make his SYG defense problematic.

If both are currently valid US passports, the state dept frowns on such things. Could be a dual citizen who needs both if he travels to the other country of his citizenship. For example, if duel US and German, you use the German passport to enter Germany and the US passport to enter US. If he were going to Canada, just carry the US.

From what I understand he claimed to have lost the first passport so he could get a new one, he then turned in the "lost" passport to law enforcement but hid the replacement.

But I don't think they will go for the SYG hearing. I see it going to trial as it would under the old DTR law. In this case, I think it would be a good thing. At best, it would put to rest the speculation, lies, propaganda put out by those who demonised one or the other. At worst, he won't get a fair trial.

to feel sorry for him because you think he won't get a fair trial.

Personally, I don't think they can find 12 jurors in that town to convict Zimmy for shooting a Black teenager, after all he was wearing a hoodie, looked suspicious, and did not yield his ground to the Z-man-with-a-gun-for-courage.

You think that is fair?

metro Orlando in 2012 with someplace in Georgia in the 1950s? You need to travel more. The chances of any of the jurors being being raised in the south are pretty slim.

If you think Zim is guilty and they can't find 12 people who will convict then the trial will be unfair. Good to see agreement.

anti gun extremist. I challenge you to prove one iota of what you just said. You must have gone to the Hoyt school of demagoguery and graduated with flying colors.

Like your crap hasn't been posted here before.

Your bigotry toward lawful gun owners is showing through.

20. What?

By prohibition and the "war on drugs" --
among other things, but I basically agree. All economies are demand driven. If there was little or no demand there would by nothing for gangsters and drug dealers to kill each other over. Ultimately, the average bong owner contributes more to gun violence than gun nuts.

which only goes to prove once again than gun nuts are largely authoritarian control freaks because they like to cite as one of their reasons for carrying, protecting themselves from the results of policies put in place by authoritarian control freaks.
not even remotely logical and semi coherent at best. Perhaps you can clarify that?

I'm all for the legalization of drugs.

Not the least of which is the deflation of criminal activity surrounding them.

Violent crime has been in decline for over 20 years.

We are now at 1960's levels of crime.

Don't rely on sensational anecdotes for formulating an opinion on trends.
