Bloomers considering a Presidential run?

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by krispos42 (a host of the Gun Control & RKBA group).

Michael Bloomberg, the racist republican gun grabber, is toying with a run as an independent.

Michael R. Bloomberg has instructed advisers to draw up plans for a potential independent campaign in this year’s presidential race. His advisers and associates said he was galled by Donald J. Trump’s dominance of the Republican field, and troubled by Hillary Clinton’s stumbles and the rise of Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont on the Democratic side.

...he finds yet another way to further divide and handicap the party. His position on guns won't help him and any decision by him to enter the race will compromise any support for (should I even use these words?) a real Democrat.

...who he really is working for. If he disrupts a bit, siphons a little, he very well could hand the election to one of the wingnuts. Could he have any other reason to run? Surely Bloomers knows he doesn't have a prayer of making it to the Oval Office.

Maybe enough to throw the electoral votes to the GOP candidate?

Could create his own version of Florida 2000, a la Nader.

But he's got an ego matching Trump and he's a high profile and strong gun control supporter with billions of his own $$$ to spend, so he'll get some votes from DU, not that they'd admit it in any posts here.

Bloomberg and his thoughts on running for president belong in GD or GD: P, not here.
