PD: Loaded Guns, Knives, Ammunition Found in Va. Teen's Car Parked Outside School

A teenager has been charged with a felony after bringing a cache of weapons to his Saluda, Virginia high school on Friday.

The Middlesex County Sheriff's Office arrested Austin Martin, 18, after a K9 unit detected something in his car.

Inside, officers found four loaded guns, several knives and more than 600 rounds of ammunition, some of which did not fit any of the weapons found in the car.

Martin, a student at Middlesex High School, was charged with possessing firearms on school property and released on a $1,500 bond.

Middlesex County Sheriff David Bushey says there's no reason, at this point, to believe that Martin intended any harm. However, Bushey says a situation like this is highly unusual for the school district, and extremely serious.

No, how would someone with apparently 2 handguns, a rifle and pump-action shotgun (all loaded, according to the report), 600 rounds, and 4(?) knives possibly be suspected of intending harm?

My collection consisted of a Ruger Blackhawk 44 magnum, A couple of 22's, A Model 11 20ga, Model 12 16ga along with a 742 in the 30-06 flavor.
