New proposal to include pump action guns as assault weapons.


Section 1. Subdivision 22 of section 265.00 of the penal law is
2 REPEALED and a new subdivision 22 is added to read as follows:
3 22. "ASSAULT WEAPON" MEANS ANY:
4 (A) SEMI-AUTOMATIC OR PUMP-ACTION RIFLE THAT HAS THE CAPACITY TO
5 ACCEPT A DETACHABLE MAGAZINE AND HAS ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING:

4. NY Gun Laws

Yep,

That's the reason NY lost 2,000 new jobs to AL. I saw where one politician said that no one at the Remington Ilion plant was losing their job. I agree. Not yet.

Remington isn't building a new plant in Huntsville, AL. They are moving in an existing plant. Foundations, electrical, etc are already there which speeds up the project.

How long before they start moving the Ilion jobs? I don't want to see anyone lose a job. Those Remington NY labor guys need to be more vocal about these gun laws passed.
