How many pro-controllers would support gun registration

if the registration form included collecting data on race, religion, political affiliation, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, disability status and income level?

Mind you, this would be strictly for academic purposes, statistics, etc. No one would ever use that information for illicit purposes. I totally pinky swear.

however seems to me when we are talking about potential murderers, and ALL gun owners are potential murderers, information is key to protecting the community. I would also support gun owners being required to wear GPS tracking devices at all times.

Someone like that is just as bad as any teabagger and if they ever got in power, hang on for a rough ride.

Are YOU registered?

A required registration form seems to be the only way to obtain accurate information from gun owners. According to most gunners here, gun owners tend to lie when polled about gun ownership and use.

And if gun owners lie, it's because of people just like You. You simply can't be trusted. And much of this information is none of your fucking business. Your true Authoritarianism shows clearly in your response.

a confiscation list, no trampling of other rights is too much.

Once there is a list, then tweak the law to make xxx class illegal then-

quick ride to jail, or cold dead hands, their choice

At least we can finally put the 'no one is going to take guns away' meme to rest. Also the 'if you are not a criminal you have nothing to fear'. CT is proving 'gunner paranoia' is more like prophecy. A registration list will be used to create felons who make minor paperwork errors. Enforcement against these non-violent offenders is wished to be aggressive and draconian.

Progressives are supposed to be the voice for those who have no voice. Why would we deliver, as sacrificial lambs, these same people for such a short-sighted goal?

At the flexible standards of so many here who are pro control.
They are willing to toss privacy, due process and trial by jury into the shitcan to get the 'gunz' Death penalty? No problem the cops can just execute gun owners who don't immediately comply. Jump into bed with Bloomberg or any 1% backed group- sure, without hesitation or question...

Combined with the knowledge of RW sources, I can't help but wonder if some GC posters are not agents provocateur
I would like to believe actual Democrats would not so lightly toss away their values over a single issue.
