This is why we need same-sex marriage rights on the federal level. This is just disgraceful. You'd think with all those dangerous medical marijuana dealers Homeland Security is hunting down, they'd be too busy to deport lawfully married spouses:

I know we have treaties that recognize civil laws of other nations...maybe go and remarry in another country?

I hope someone up the chain in the Homeland Security/Immigration sphere puts a stop to this harassment.

To stop paying taxes since we are considered second class citizens. We have NO representation from the federal government. If we are "invisible" to them for our rights, it only must mean we are "invisible" and don't have to pay taxes. Let it go to court. This might be the best thing. And I want all the back taxes I paid throughout my lifetime. Always MAKING us file "single" on our taxes. I don't have the clout or the money to make a difference, but if we all stuck together with a class action lawsuit it may get somewhere. They are keeping us down, while protecting "religious" groups to attack us with "free speech", and prop 8. Till they "see" us, we shouldn't have to pay them shit. And if your state doesn't allow equal rights, then don't pay them either. Lawsuits are good for our cause.
