Puppy poop training.
My pup is now 3 1/2 months old and we have pretty much gotten the poop thing down. Sometimes she asks to go out by standing on the door but typically she starts speed walking frantically. So out the door and poop!
For some reason she likes to poop in the woods rather than in short grass (yay!). Since we live in a clearing in the woods, this is great.
The last couple days she's been out playing in the yard, or helping me garden when she runs to the door and bark bark barks. I let her inside, she runs through the house to the other door, bark bark bark. Oh Kay. Out that door into the "good place to poop" spot and voila!
It is too funny, in from the 1 side of the house, out the other side to the best spot.
Our old dog didn't go in the grass until he started being unable to maneuver and we weren't looking forward to scooping with this new one but looks like she's trained herself on being a bear in the woods. Good puppy. Now if only she'd quite eating the rug, chewing on chair legs, biting my ankles when I'm on the computer. That all will come, am appreciating not scooping poop for now.
