My dogs are "full of it" since the weather is warmer with so much rain.

Unusually warm weather for us and rain. I live way up north in NYS. They can't go out in the back yard as much because now it is so muddy. My kitchen floor is constantly muddy. We have 4 good sized dogs, all rescues, 2 Weimaraners and a Black Lab mix and a Border Collie mix. We have been walking them to compensate for this but they like that rough housing stuff they do outside. I am more than ready for frozen ground and snow! Any one else having this problem?

it's a little better this fall but we were so dry all year here in TX. I take my lab to doggie daycare to run once a week - but it's an outdoor one so I guess that wouldn't help. Local dog parks would have the same issue. I have to walk mine a lot because he's young. I know what you mean though - it really helps when he can have an hour running around with our neighbor's new rescue (lab/pit mix). They have a blast!

My backyard hasn't dried out since August. And this pup LOVES mud. I've lost count of how many times I've had to hose him off before letting him back in the house.

Ugh.

... but Sadie May, our 6 month old white German Shepard absolutely loves being out in the cold. We had one 2 inch or so fall and she was in Heaven, running and jumping like a kid on Christmas morning. The Frenchy/Boston pups? Almost exactly the opposite.
