A good day for dogs...

My two boys are currently flopped on the floor beside the sofa, tongues lolling. They're exhausted because they accompanied me out on my errands this morning.

First was a trip to the hardware store. It's dog friendly, if you can believe it, and locally owned. I've recently moved to a new apartment, and need plenty of gizmos to get myself comfortable. You wouldn't believe how many tools I don't own. The owners of this business have been getting to know us rather well. They keep a handy supply of pet treats on hand, so my fellas love going there.

Then I required coffee! A quick zip up the street to a favourite haunt got me all fixed up. The dogs also love it here as well. Cuz attention! And more treats.

Then we headed to their most favourite spot of all - the waterfront park. I sat a spell on the rocks while they chased the waves furiously.

I'm discovering that many more pet friendly locations are cropping up, and many of them are nearby. It's wonderful.

So a very good, mild but sunny day for my two slightly damp buddies. They look so content right now.

Signed up with a golden retriever rescue to foster. We're getting a 5 year-old that is afraid of rides in a car.
