What kind of dog is this?

She showed up at our house last Summer.
She is friendly and likes to be scratched, but doesn't learn tricks very well.
I've been trying to teach her to "fetch", but every time I throw the stick,
she just runs away.

It's a Garden Rat. Sorry, not a dog but a specialized rat that loves gardens. uppityperson Feb 2012 #4

She is a delight.
She is waiting outside the kitchen door right now
for her evening walk with her Deer Momma,
and some apple slice treats and Fruit Gummies.
She moans "Mmmmmmm" every time she takes an apple slice from our hand.
She especially likes the Fruit Gummies, though we don't give her very many.
We're sure they are as bad for her as they are for us.
She will nuzzle our pockets looking for Gummies,
and will stamp her foot with spoiled impatience if she smells them and we don't give them to her immediately .
She smacks her lips when she chews the Gummies.

She still has a special relationship with her Deer Momma.
She tolerates me, but LOVES her Momma,
and comes running to her with her tail up every time she sees her.

I need to take some new photos.
She has gotten bigger, and even more beautiful.
