Anyone used cannabis oil for sick kitties?

I'm too torn up to post a lot of specifics right now, but I have a sick kitty. I've heard so much about the curative and palliative properties of cannabis oil for so many conditions and illnesses that I want to explore that as an option.

I'm absolute clueless about marijuana and hemp and cannabis oil (see, I don't really know the difference between all of them and don't have the energy to research right now).

I posted a similar question in the Cannabis group here on DU but thought I'd reach out here to see if anyone has any experience or information, or can simply point me in a helpful direction.

Thanks.

Psychoactive drugs can have very different effects in animals than they do in people. You could easily make the situation worse by experimenting like this.

And with small animals, it's very difficult indeed to avoid overdosage, their body mass is so much smaller than ours.

I'm so sorry you and your kitty are miserable!

I'd look at T-Touch before trying out non-veterinary alternative medications, though.

A good resource on using it with kitties.

Will hold you and your furbaby in the Light for healing!

helpfully,
Bright
