A request for help from the rescue group that gave me my Snowy

I can vouch for this rescue organization--based in South Carolina--from which
I got my Snowy several years ago.

They put out a request this morning on fb for funds to help with an emaciated
German Shepherd they have just rescued.

Here is the request:

As you all know, it's a rare occasion that NBSR asks for donations. But we need your help now. We have saved this sweet, sweet little girl, Hope, from Miami Dade and she is in horrible shape. She is so emaciated that her body index is a 1, she has horrible Demodex mange, and her poor little body is riddled with various infections. She is in boarding in Miami until we can arrange for her flight to us. Please meet Hope.....If you would like to donate to Hope's healing fund, please paypal to [email protected] or mail us at New Beginnings Shepherd Rescue, Inc. P.O. Box 1671 Holly Hill, SC 29059. We all here at NBSR THANK YOU so much for loving our beloved breed as much as we do!

And here is Hope's info:

Here is the link to their fb page: https://www.facebook.com/NewBeginningsShepherdRescue

My Snowy sends thanks if you can spare a few $$ to help out the organization that rescued her from a kill shelter
in Georgia--even though she isn't a German Shepherd--and fostered her until she came to live with us in 2009.

I am going to send them a little check as I'm doing my own rescue work this week and hope every little bit helps. I really hope that little girl pulls through. She will be a wonderful, beautiful dog for someone.

since she was just a pup when in the shelter, but, of course, turned out not to be.

They told me she was a Golden Retriever and American Eskimo mix. She's a real sweetie, but
she sure does shed!

Thank you for donating!

My Samson is a 'UMDAS Alumni' too! (University of Miami-Dade Animal Services). He was HW positive. He's the one in the middle.

When I got Samson out of the pound they informed me that he had heartworms. I have a great vet though, and we got him over it.

I dunno what the problem is...sometimes my credit card company will
challenge charges--not approve them-- because they think I didn't make the charge. Maybe the site triggered such
a challenge from your card?
