Well, summer fun will soon turn into winter excess.

I keep finding "bargains" on plants that I would like for my "collection". Unfortunately, they all have to come indoors for the winter.

Today, it is a 'Trovita' orange tree, a Miracle Fruit, and two tropical hibiscus.

I need to stop now -- I'm not going to have room for everyone.

1. LOL, aren't you the one who already had a crowded house

in the winter?

You really will have to share pictures of winter in your house!!!

2. Yes, I do.

It's actually not as bad as it seems. I converted the attached garage a few years ago by replacing the large door with a doorwall, which faces due South. Most of my plants are dormant or semi-dormant in the winter, I just put them out there and barely heat it tp about 40 degrees, water about once every 2 weeks, and they sleep away the winter.

The only issue are the truly tropical plants that can't take cold temps. Those have to come into the main part of my small house.
