Where is Lucinda and what is she having for dinner tonight, Sunday, 4/29?
I just made a big pot of red gravy (that's the New Orleans term for spaghetti sauce) and I am going to make a big lasagna!
I love lasagna. I don't have anyone to invite over Hope you are ok, Lucinda.

2. We just finished off a rotisserie chicken and are chickened out.

We can get three meals out of one, which I love, but enough is enough!

we don't even bother carving it, we just set it between us and tear into it.
i'm going to poach the breasts, shred them and toss some into a batch of chili. the rest will go to sandwiches. |

and roasted green beans. I had a few cups of green beans for lunch and stupidly offered it as a side dish option to the husband, of course he pounced on that!

My local market had the b/s ones on sale this week ($1.69/lb) so I stocked up a bit.
Tonight I did a quicky version of Bhuna Murgh - curry type spices and lemon juice. |

with grilled salmon and zucchini. It's the first Monday in weeks we won't have fish for diner. I guess I've been in a rut!
