V-8
I love V8.
Always have. I even like the new fruity versions. They're all pretty handy when my diet is lagging.

4. My mom lives there and she is really excited about it, too.

The fuss is that they have a great selection of good foods, many packaged under their own label and less expensive than elsewhere.
While not a fan of their produce or fresh meats, I love these things: cheese bread premade foods juices cereal coffee dairy products, including great yogurts and cream some of their frozen foods cookies crackers nut butters condiments and sauces dried fruits and nuts and fabulous wine selection, including 2-buck chuck, the Charles Shaw varieties Plus they are a friendly and fun place to shop with good music and great employee attitude. I only get there every couple of months, but when I do, I really stock up. |

8. Lots and lots of cheese. And really good cheese.
|
I buy it by the pounds because I can't get any decent cheese where I generally live.

16. what I like about Trader Joe's
|
is they unload the shopping cart for you. When you're old and creaky, that matters.
They have a number of products that I really like. However, it's not a one stop shopping store. Their inventory is limited. So I go there periodically and stock up. Plus every day they have yummy samples. |

13. The spicy is perfect for bloody marys.
|
I still add some Tabasco and freshly cracked black pepper, but it's about as perfect as you get.

14. I love V-8 too
|
It makes the perfect snack alongside some crackers and cheese. Two servings of vegetables with your snack! Whee!
I've been trying to have more than one glass a day. The potassium content is very substantial. I drink the low sodium variety. It also makes a great base for gazpacho. |

Last edited Sat Apr 7, 2012, 04:46 PM USA/ET - Edit history (1) it was pretty good. I just went with the ingredients listed on the label and played around with the blender until I got something I liked.
Then I played around with some more flavors. |

20. Me too. It's not a hike or canoe ride without V8 in the lunch bag
|
We were out hiking on Monday and I told my husband that it wouldn't "be a hike" without V8. We've been packing it forever it seems
