What's for Dinner, Fri., Sept. 9, 2016

Tossed salad with grilled beets, feta cheese, scallions, and toasted pecans.

This is one of my all-time favorite salads.

I also made up a shrimp salad for tomorrow.

I have some mozzarella I want make an appetizer with, too, but I haven’t figured out how I’m going to do that.

grilled, and topped with sun-dried tomato herb butter. Grilled veggies and salad on the side. Washing it down with 2009 Stag's Leap Cabernet Sauvignon.

End of summer celebration with a long-time co-worker/collaborator (we've earned the splurge).

(mixed greens, black olives, carrots, cherry tomatoes, avocado, green onion, sunflower seeds, bacon bits, herb croutons) dressed with my non fat yogurt hot ranch dressing.

in an orange/wine sauce; zucchini, eggplant, and yellow squash sauteed and fresh peaches in tart shells with ice cream.
