We bought a couple plates of sushi from Whole Foods.
Pear tarte with vanilla gelato.

(2,016 posts)Ground lamb burger with tzatziki sauce, fresh lettuce/tomato/onion toppings. A stir-fry of zucchini, tomatoes and mushrooms (and mega garlic). I made the tzatziki this morning, so the flavors would have time to meld.
That's about as adventurous as I am willing to be today.

(50,130 posts)which is pretty good with nice fat pieces of fish. A very lemony and caper-y tartar sauce. Steamed broccoli, and dirty rice.
Might be an odd combination, but we had slaw last night and couldn't think of anything else at the moment.

Lightly dredged in masa flour.
Sautéed, spinach stuffed, broiled tomato half, rice with parmesan and pepitas.
