(111,169 posts)and added the puree and reduced it all a bit, but then I've turned it directly into sauce.
I need paste, I use a tube--best invention since sliced bread, that tomato paste in a tube.

(2,016 posts)Gimme a tube of paste anytime. There's some good ones out there, depending on your palette.
No more waste if you need a couple of tablespoons of paste, while opening an entire can. Sure, you can freeze the rest, but why bother?
Tomatoes in tube form rock!
