This, my cooking friends, is a HOOT!
OK, I do love the chef who posts on you tube as 'cookinginrussia'.
Check him out.

But this recipe is just SO way-over-the-top...

and added the puree and reduced it all a bit, but then I've turned it directly into sauce.

I need paste, I use a tube--best invention since sliced bread, that tomato paste in a tube.

Gimme a tube of paste anytime. There's some good ones out there, depending on your palette.

No more waste if you need a couple of tablespoons of paste, while opening an entire can. Sure, you can freeze the rest, but why bother?

Tomatoes in tube form rock!

I'm almost tempted to try it tomorrow since it will be cool and stormy. On the other hand, I just bought a new tube of the pricey stuff...
