Yippee, the RG is cooking tonight.
However, one dish I know I am making for sure is chicken noodle soup. I have a friend who is ill, and I want her to have some.

(2,125 posts)Tonight's entrée is turkey and lentil shepherd's pie with yeast rolls and Trader Joe's mega crunchy salad. I don't know what I'd do without TJ's. I go every other week. I've become addicted to their coffee now too, the Costa Rican blend.
If there's room for dessert, I bought some Healthy Choice fro yo because a friend recommended it very highly.
Making chicken noodle soup for a sick friend is grounds for sainthood, I believe.

(35,655 posts)the other favorite we go to, the one with the NYC skyline view that's on a mountain. First we had three fish tacos. One was a lobster taco, another salmon, and the third tuna.
Next up a salad of spinach and some kind of strange but delicious little cherry. It tasted a little like peppadew, but it looked like a tiny little cherry tomato.
Then another appetizer--gravlax with apple slaw, dill, and sour cream.
Entree was roasted lamb shank with risotto and also pureed sweet potato--but interestingly, it had roasted potato on top--so two kinds of potatoes. This was a delicious combination which I am going to try on my own in the future (the lamb shank with the sweet potato).
