Cbayer, I finally made that carrot recipe you have posted

in the pinned recipes--Marcella Hazen's recipe for Braised Carrots, and it is as wonderful as you described. The only thing wrong is that there were not enough, but fortunately only two of us to eat the whole recipe! The texture was completely different from most carrot recipes and the rich, buttery, parmesan taste was absolutely delicious. I probably wouldn't have tried it but had a bag of sad carrots that needed to be used up and happened to remember your raving about them. Thanks so much for sharing the recipe. It's a keeper.
