teas with high caffeine content?

I'm one of those people who cannot function without a good coffee jump-start. Without it, I'm quite useless.

Coffee is fine, but drinking it day-after-day can sometimes get boring. So, I was wondering if anyone knows of teas with caffeine content that's as high as drip-brewed coffee (I mention drip brew because expresso brews have less caffeine).

Thanks!

Usually beloved by coffee drinkers for the a.m. caffeine jolt.

"Black" teas, like Earl Grey, etc, do the job too. When I run out of coffee, I keep black teas around just in case.

On the back of the package, they show a "Caff-O-Meter" which illustrates the caffeine content as follows:

Coffee = 100 to 120 mg per cup
Black Tea = 30 to 60 mg per cup
Green Tea = 25 to 60 mg per cup
Decaf Tea = 1 to 8 mg per cup
Herbal Tea = 0 mg per cup

Looks like you would have to drink 2 cups of black tea (like Constant Comment) to get the caffeine of 1 cup of coffee. Hope this helps!

But you can get a really good cup of tea from your keurig. I like the Bigelow Irish Breakfast which is a tasty basic black tea.
