Do all sites that offer coupons require my personal information? How about time of use?

I don't want to sign up for a zillion daily offers but would like to take advantage of coupons on some items I buy. It seems most of them, except the individual store sites, require that I sign up. I know this will open the door for a zillion e-mails per day with offers. I'd rather go without if this is the norm.

Am I off base in hoping there is some site that does not require me to give out my e-mail address?

Speaking of coupons, all I get in the mail now are the ones that give me a week to use or make me buy 2 or 3 of an item. Big changes. I used to be a coupon clipper, no more it seems.

I've got five of them, mostly for legitimate reasons, but Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, AOL and others will gladly let you sign on for a free email addy. As many as you want, actually.

Then your primary inbox won't be bothered.

I have one I use just for shopping, signing up for any crap online, etc.

Yes, every company will sell you down the river. Eventually I unsubscribe from places that send too many but even so, I get a ton of junk mail every day. I can barely keep up. I guess I need to start over with a new junk account!
