2. Happy Mardi Gras!!!

I am thinking of making a jambalaya or gumbo to celebrate the day.
I miss New Orleans. |

9. Break out your zydeco cds and go out under the stars.
|
Then dance until you get the endorphins flowing. Be there in (your best party-mode) spirit; I believe the city expects this of you. I am sorry, but I must agree that this is the very worst day not to be in New Orleans.

15. I should have known you were into jazz.
|
Yes, think of spring and what a treat it will be to go to the Jazz Fest. I started a reply to you last night, but somehow fell asleep before I finished. When I woke up, it didn't make sense so I just shut down my computer. Hope you have a beautiful day today, my friend!

16. hahah

that's how I killed my keyboard. Fell asleep with a glass of red in my hand.
Ticks me off, to tell the truth. I could have purchsed a couple more bottles of red with what I spent on the keyboard.

17. I get a tummy full of food
|
and a foot rub, I am O.U.T. Actually, I was dreaming that I was on the computer when I woke up--that was confusing. I'm braising lamb shanks (for Valentine's dinner) today in red wine. Mr. Pup has developed an affinity for Montepulcianno. I like it, too. Soft. We don't know much about wine. Sorry about your keyboard! I've been lucky in that respect.

Montepulcianno!
Oh that lucky Mr. Pup! Spouse is a wine expert, so I'm lucky in that regard.

Mr. Pup takes the advice of the owner of the wine boutique near his office and we SCORE! Thanks for the upvote. I can now offer this lovely wine to guests with confidence.

8. Baked tilapia filets

with a lemon-caper butter sauce, potato chip crunch on the outside hash browns, steamed asparagus and those positively irresistible ciabatta rolls from the bakery, briefly crisped in the oven. Dead simple.
