2. My mom is arriving and we will take her out.

The rest of the crowd arrives tomorrow and I am currently making meal assignments. We will have between 7 and 20 people for each meal from tomorrow night until next Monday morning.

Have fun with your friends and family.

I'm having some spaghetti and meatsauce. All of my frozen goodies are now gone.

8. Oh, nonononononono! I have rented a big 4 bedroom house with a giant

kitchen and have use of a friends house just down the block from there!

It will be a big treat for me. I have already availed myself of the shower. What a treat.

Anyway, it's going to be a blast and I am so looking forward to it.

12. I was wondering about that too.

Had a picture in mind of the big dinner table set on the deck, or perhaps in a dinghy. Napkins flying from the mast; seagulls swooping down to see if there's anything to snatch.

15. Lol. I did have Thanksgiving Dinner for 6 one year.

That's the absolute maximum my inside table will fit. The oven part was the trickiest, as the turkey pretty much filled up the whole thing.

But this house is a real treat with lots of seating and huge kitchen.

16. there will be anywhere from 9 to 20 on any given day, with most days having 12.

I have made a big chart and put it on the wall. Everyone has a certain number of stickies and have to use them for either cooking or cleaning.

That makes sure that everyone participates, and I hope it works out.

5. Tonight we are having butternut-apple soup

and pork cutlet sandwiches. Nothing fancy, and I'm saving some of the soup for our opening course for Thanksgiving.

Hope today is a MUCH BETTER day for you, Lucinda!

11. Leftover sweet-n-sour chicken from yesterday and leftover rice.

Best batch I've made in a long time. I will probably freeze some of the chicken and later make a cashew sauce. Yum.
