(12,253 posts)but our host says no hats (unless it's a baseball cap--and I don't have one). Jeans and t-shirts are the usual attire, so I'm wearing red jeans, white tee, and a red and white striped Oxford shirt over (in case it is chilly in the studio) and walking shoes because we'll be walking about 3 mils r/t. I won't be able to watch until tomorrow either. I hope to do something to distinguish myself, but usually when I try that, I end up humiliated...

(12,253 posts)Too late. The Colbert Report issued hats to a few of us -- I got one! -- and gave us convention badges and little flags to wave. We had to give them back at the end. It was chaotic but tons of fun!

(12,253 posts)This was his first show after a 10 day break and the audience were members of his PAC convention. I am in the Moolah section, second row, in front of the Moolah sign-holder. I'm hoarse from screaming and laughing. Andrew Sullivan is charming. Next, John Stewart over the holidays!

(12,253 posts)Simple and good. Besides, we were too excited about the show to be hungry. When we returned home we had some leftover Mexican while we watched the show. We didn't show up on any of the crowd shots because we were seated in the two front rows. That's where all the VIP tix were seated and no one in the first two rows was picked up on camera. Interesting...

(106,886 posts)Especially with the hickory smoked bacon. Over the top would be ginger whip cream topping, but I didn't go there. I like lunch / brunch get togethers, though and this would be a good one for that.

(3,744 posts)Bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado. The lettuce was actually arugula. All was tasty....oh......yum. I was chatting with my niece on my iPad and I got mayo all over the screen.
