1. Thank You!

Thank you so much for posting this. Frightening stuff, indeed. Regardless of what disappointments I have had with the Obama Administration, and there have been a few, this is one of the reasons I will be supporting him 100%. It is up to us to educate, organize and take to the streets when necessary to stop the war on women. Only by electing pro-choice representatives can we secure reproductive rights for all women. The slogan says it all - Trust Women.

2. some good news...

http://www.prochoiceamerica.org/media/press-releases/2012/pr01202012-bcrefusal.html

"...The Obama administration resisted a pressure campaign from anti-contraception groups to broaden the refusal rule in a way that would have allowed many employers, including universities and hospitals, to refuse to cover birth control.

“All women should have access to contraceptive coverage, regardless of where they work,” Keenan said. “The administration stood firm against intensive lobbying efforts from anti-birth-control organizations trying to expand the refusal option even further to allow organizations and corporations to deny their employees contraceptive coverage. As a result, millions will get access to contraception—and they will not have to ask their bosses for permission.”

3. Thanks, handmade34

Needed some good news. Especially appreciated this part: “Today’s decision stands in stark contrast with the anti-choice presidential candidates’ positions on birth control. We will make sure voters understand the difference.”
