this group make me want to be a better person and make each day count. One of my biggest reasons for being here is a close DU'er is going through a difficult time and another one of my fav DU'er was part of this community and passed. Both are inspiring to me everyday, when I think I've got hard times they are/were there to keep me uplifted and told me to carry on and quit whining.

I am sorry your friend passed. I so wish a cure could be found. I have been cancer free for 12 years but the fear is always there. I have always believed it is required to help others and I try to help with joy. I still learn from others and I love the people in our little group.

She was such an inspiration for this group for a good while. I only knew her here at the cancer forum, but she was always so positive. When I heard she had passed, it was like losing a close friend. Bless all those who struggled for so long and are now at rest.
I still tear up just thinking of her.
