1. That's the thing.

I know if I give in, I'll probably survive. But I'll lose everything I've worked for over the last fifteen years eleven months and two-and-a-half weeks. That's some powerful incentive. I've rebuilt my life and I'm not going to destroy it again.

3. Writing it down did help some, and I also got to a good meeting yesterday and again this afternoon

I think I'll sleep a little better tonight, fwiw. It's not my job to fix the world. What I can do is clean my own side of the street.

5. Sponsor

I have been out of touch for a bit so late answer. Sometimes It's one minute/second at a time, this is what a sponsor is for.... ....

6. There comes a time for each of us when we can't get anyone on the phone, there are no meetings,

and the only thing between us and picking up is our higher power of choice.

Throw yourself to your higher power. "Help me" is the last prayer any of us would ever think of using...I wish you the best. Please let us know what has happened.

8. Well enough that I think I'll delete the OP now so this thread can just sink.

Meetings help. Meditation helps. Cravings pass when you don't act on them.
