I went into it thinking it was going to be one thing that it wasn't (quirky indie film). When I found out it wasn't, I thought I'd hate it, but absolutely fell in love with it. Acting was superb, writing was compelling, and directing was spot on.

I had the feeling that there was more there in the original script but that it got censored out and the movie just ended up as you say "predicitable" and just a feel good that seemed hollow in the end.

Still enjoyable for the scenery and bringing attention to some issues that don't get much viewing here in the US.
