wish me luck. Having an implant of a device to block my intense nerve pain tomorrow...

waiting to hear instructions from the Outpatient Surgery Center at the hospital.

This is my final option. I am hopeful that this constant pain can be at long last stopped. It is the sequilae of my horrible shingles attack over a year ago, that resulted in post-herpetic neuragia.

Reminder to you: get a shingles vaccine shot! Don't go through what I have gone through. You don't want shingles!

That was years ago, and the only option was anti-vitals, which are only effective if started early enough. Ice packs seemed to help him, but it wasn't good.

It sounds like there is a good chance that nerve blockage may do the trick. I hope so.

I guess it is too late for you to get the shingles vaccine, since this is post-herpetic neuralgia.

Hope it works. All the best.

Constant pain starts to play with the brain after awhile. I hope you get some relief with this procedure.

Btw, I always enjoy your postings.

pronto. I was throwing up everything, really retching badly. Never before have I been unable to eat.

I'm better now and am eating nearly normal.
