The Dove model forth from the right has insanely beautiful skin. All the Dove models look happy.

11. That's what's most out of kilter with the Victoria's Secret photo--they look TOO much alike.
|
If those women are rail thin and not photoshopped there's nothing wrong with each loving the body she has, but to present that group with that caption seems to suggest it's the only type of shape to love.
The Dove campaign is right on the money. We come in many body shapes. |

After nearly getting the shit kicked out of me by several girlfriends, I think I've found a word that is safe for a description of my preference. Rubenesque. |

they're really creepy looking
the Dove women look normal like the people I know - I don't know anyone that look like the preying mantises in real life. |

8. Apparently modeling for Victoria's Secret does not pay enough to feed yourself.
|
If this were a poll, I'd vote "Dove".

12. I really don't care for some of the comments on this thread.
|
If we're going to accept people in all of their sizes and forms, that includes tall, skinny people too. Objectifying and dehumanizing language isn't really an appropriate response to sexist ad campaigns.

13. I can't use Dove because it has dead cow's fat in it or something.
|
Whatever but it's not vegan, from what I gather. Plus I just use natural soap usually.
