1. Good stuff. I learned froma health care advocate that
Surgical instruments were designed for men's bodies, as well as drugs. Because they didn't want to test drugs on women in case it might harm a potential pregnancy.
The whole health care industry treats women like an afterthought.

2. look how long it took them to figure out that the aspirin/heartattack thing had never been
tested on women, whose bodies and reactions are different. afterthought is the kindest word for it.
