My sincerest condolences to the family and friends of the massacre in my hometown, Orlando

I was born and raised in Orlando. This tragedy really hits me harder than the others. My community is very accepting of the LGBT community, so this is really a huge shock to me. I really hope nothing even remotely close to this happens in my community again. One day violence against the LGBT community will be a thing of the past, I fervently hope.

I didn't know any of the victims, but some of you might. My solidarity with you in a time of tragedy.

Steve, a straight male ally of the LGBT community
