WATCH: Jonathan Saenz says his lesbian ex-wife shouldn’t have been allowed to divorce him so easily
Back in August I reported that the ex-wife of anti-gay leader Jonathan Saenz left him for a woman.
Before publishing my story, I contacted both Saenz, who serves as president of Texas Values, and his attorney to give them a chance to comment, but they chose not to.
Last month, Saenz publicly addressed the story during a panel on same-sex marriage at the Texas Tribune Festival in Austin.
Moderator Emily Ramshaw asked Saenz whether his wife’s decision to leave him for a woman has motivated his anti-gay advocacy.
