I'm Going to Target this Weekend!!!

Well, we all saw this one coming.

Less than 48 hours after mass market retailer Target publicly solidified their support for marriage equality in a court filing on Tuesday, the National Organization for Marriage announced a boycott of the chain.

Target officially announced their public support for marriage equality by signing an amicus brief before a Chicago federal appeals court, following similar moves made by other large companies.

now i have to shop there for sure because they support gay marriage.

i'm so confused

i think they issued a statement saying please don't bring your guns into our stores, but stopping short of saying you can't come in if you do.

i know what: i'm staying home and buying local this weekend.

happily, whoever the national organization for marriage is, i doubt they can muster enough people for an effective boycott. they are just on the wrong side of history, and for gay rights, history is right now.
