Note to passer-bys: Homophobia is NOT limited to calling people "fags/dykes", discriminatory laws, and Russia. Homophobia (and its ugly sister/brother, heterosexism) emerge in all ways, every day, and hurt us as much as the name-calling and hate-filled laws!

8. I think fear is also a big part of homophobia. Irrational but fear casts a strong net.

Folks apparently don't always "get" that irrational fear is a cage for all involved, themselves included. The recent trends toward a natural and normal point of view holds promise, imo. Recent knee jerk legislation challenges that and remains a big problem, tho.
