How hard is it to explain homosexuality to children?

I grew up knowing some boys had girlfriends and some boys had boyfriends. I found out about the girls who had girlfriends a bit later.

but dealing with the truth, saying Uncle Bob and Pete love each other; somehow people think that 3 year olds are going to have some advanced insight into society. These are people who don't get it themselves, they'll never completely go away.

So a simple answer, just for those who still don't understand the question, is 'it is not difficult'

I heard the term 'gay' used years later.

Funny thing is, we were all having sex - guys and girls, girls and girls, guys and guys, three- and four- and multiple-ways.

Hell, it was all fun.

I could not believe that people had a problem with any of it.

I fixed the problem by using "men and women" instead of "boys and girls."

Problem solved. She immediately got it with no issues.
