Support Councilperson Christine Quinn on Facebook. She is the gay NYC Councilperson leading the

fight here against Chick-Fil-A(holes) to get them kicked out of NYU. Haters have decended on her Facebook pages and are saying she is against the 1st amendment and is overreaching and those are the nicer comments.

1. Can't stand her accommodation w. the despicable Bloomberg....

2. ditto on all points. I was going to post in support;

the only reason I didn't was because she let him override the voter twice-affirmed term limits law.

But I like her on GLBT issues, and Steve is beautiful (inside and out), so I'm gonna K&R!

3. I will say this: most restaurants here need to pass public health and

hygiene tests, and there are probably some areas where results are ambiguous, and rendered in favor of the restaurant. But if I were an inspector, I don't think I would be inclined to give them any breaks. I'm not an inspector, of course, but just saying, bad PR can be just as important as good PR.
