White House Denies CIA Teleported Obama to Mars - WIRED

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by Ohio Joe (a host of the Creative Speculation group).

Forget Kenya. Never mind the secret madrassas. The sinister, shocking truth about Barack Obama’s past lies not in east Africa, but in outer space. As a young man in the early 1980s, Obama was part of a secret CIA project to explore Mars. The future president teleported there, along with the future head of Darpa.

That’s the assertion, at least, of a pair of self-proclaimed time-traveling, universe-exploring government agents. Andrew D. Basiago and William Stillings insist that they once served as “chrononauts” at Darpa’s behest, traversing the boundaries of time and space. They swear: A youthful Barack Obama was one of them.

(snip)

Officially, the White House says Obama never went to Mars. “Only if you count watching Marvin the Martian,” Tommy Vietor, the spokesman for the National Security Council, tells Danger Room. But that’s exactly what a secret chrononaut wants you to believe.

If Obama’s reelected, the U.S. is finally colonizing Mars.

The Wired article is, obviously, very facetious. It links to the hard-hitting expose in EXOPOLITICS by Alfred Lambremont Webre, JD, MEd: http://exopolitics.blogs.com/exopolitics/2011/11/mars-visitors-basiago-and-stillings-confirm-barack-obama-traveled-to-mars-1.html

In turn, Webre, JD, MEd (or is that Lambremont Webre, JD, MEd?) cites not only the two intrepid truth-tellers mentioned in the Wired article, but other "Mars whistle blowers" including Ike's great-granddaughter, and "Mars researchers, including physicist David Wilcock." Wilcock turns out to be the "Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce?" (one must appreciate the modesty of the question mark) with a BA in psychology, which of course contains many of the same letters as "physics."

My impression is that full-frontal woo is out of scope for Creative Speculation, even when no one is advocating it -- and even though it is nothing if not creative. Maybe this is more like "Weird News"?

Barack Obama a secret time-travelling astronaut to Mars? That is definitely three stops deep into Crazytown.

Weird News would be a better fit for this.
