the vector graphic on the bottom I think is the original image. At least the top amount of text on top is a later addition. The line that travels horizontally is fairly blatant - it doesnt change direction at all.

Someone has gone to at least some trouble to make the later text look similarly washed out to the vector image. You wouldnt be able to print the white inlaid text on a photocopy either.
