January 21, 2013
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said Monday that Israel has agreed to allow 150,000 Palestinian refugees from Syria to enter the
Palestinian Authority.
He said that the PA filed an official requested to that effect with the Israeli government, citing humanitarian grounds. The statement was made during an interview Abbas gave an unnamed Arab news channel. (Elior Levy)
