Egypt seizes US-made missiles en-route to Gaza

Egyptian security forces seized a stash of US-made missiles on Friday in the Sinai peninsula, Ma'an's correspondent said.

Egyptian security sources told Ma'an that they believe the weapons were ready to be smuggled into the Gaza Strip via underground tunnels.

The six anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles were stored in a remote desert area in north Sinai, with security forces forming a committee to seize the weaponry.

It is thought the weapons were most likely smuggled into Egypt via Libya, in an agreement that they would eventually be transferred into Gaza, security sources said.

the man is even lip read while he's praying, so desperate to denigrate this man are the ProIsrael set here, but things like this and cooperation between Israel and Egypt WRT Gaza are studiously ignored.

2. Do you think it's in Egypt's best interests

to have some unstable militia terrorists running around their neighborhood with this kind of firepower ?
It has little to do with Morsi being the antisemite he has been proven to be.

3. and that it is in both Egypt and Israel's interests is a problem-why?

despite all the negative PR Morsi doesn't seem to let his antisemitic or antiZionist feelings drive his actions as Egypt's leader wrt Israel
