1. Ah, the yearly cranberry-stuffed Field Roast thread.

I just bought one the other day for my brother and sister-in-law for Christmas.

2. Paul just bought one for us...

It's in the oven now. I blame FlVegan.

Or thank him. I'm not really sure which one yet.

3. I wanna try that new roast Trader Joes has. I think it's made by Gardein?

I promise I'll post if it's delicious. He can't get one, Florida has like, two Trader Joes' stores. Sweet revenge.

4. Had the Gardein roast...

It's...hm...OK. Taste is decent, but the roast itself leaves something to be desired (in my opinion). I like this one because it has a crust, giving it a dry skin. The Gardein roast is pretty wet, but not unpleasant.

5. I'm not a huge fan of the Field Roast en croute.

Probably because I'm not fond of cranberries.

12. The verdict: It was okay, not great. Better than Tofurkey, not as good as Field Roast*.

*NOT the cranberry one, cranberries are gross.

13. Heathen.

Your hatred of the cranberry is duly noted.

9. Just bought one yesterday. With cranberries. mmmmmmmmmm good.

It's odd, but I really don't miss meat as much as I miss eggs for some reason. Tofu scramble is fine, maybe I don't have the right recipe. Any suggestions?

10. Eggs are my weakness. I've been a vegetarian for 30 years. I just buy the highly rated ones that

cost more :

http://www.cornucopia.org/organic-egg-scorecard/

I don't eat eggs in restaurants.

I probably shouldn't post this here because this group is so purist even tho the name of the group is Vegetarian, vegan and animal rights group.
