done w/ their blooms ..... they don't like hot weather.
I did not get on my skis downhill or X-country once this winter.

(6,012 posts)We have crocus (croci?) in full bloom. A wide variety of other spring bulbs budding rapidly. I had a few clusters of volunteer onions come up so I busted the clusters up a re-planted today. If we don't get another heavy frost, I could be harvesting onions in May.

(10,271 posts)A friend of mine was talking about going to see the cherry blossoms in DC last weekend. I realized that my first date with Mr Laurel, to see the cherry blossoms, took place in mid-April 9 years ago. Peak blossom time has shifted that much in less than a decade.
