I received this from a dear friend who is neck deep in this part of our world, I am only knee deep...

This article is a must read and I endorse what it says. It is one thing to want to hunt wolves legally, but the people and organizations mentioned in this piece are hateful people who belong to hate groups and I hope we are all smart enough to see through the vitriol they spew.

I think that state and federal wildlife managers should take these people seriously and understand that they are attempting to influence natural resource agencies. In some cases this has already happened - and in some cases it's the legislatures they have influenced. We may soon see that fish and game agencies and commissions are dismissed from decision-making. The lawmakers will do it for them.

It must be said that there are several issues involved but this does a good job of tying together a lot of complaints made individually about the subject matter that goes way beyond the main topic and covers a number of ills in our social makeup. Most will be able to connect the dots, if you will. (I'll cross post this on Env & Energy forum.)
