Videos of two debates I've had with Fox News hosts over Global Warming/Climate change

This one was from Monday 11/19 Regarding a Carbon Tax
&feature=youtu.be

This is me vs. Eric Bolling on 12/7/09 regarding "Climategate"

I just realized this group exists and thought you might be interested.

5. "We're not here to discuss whether global warming is real..."

If one were to concede the possibility it's not, the rest of the conversation is pretty pointless.

6. You do a remarkable job of talking plain sense to idiots.

Seems like the hardest part would be keeping a straight face while answering those questions.

I first read about fee-and-dividend in James Hansen's book, Storms of my Grandchildren. Hansen is one of its biggest proponents, because it has many advantages over a carbon tax:

* Revenue-neutral
* Penalizes carbon use, while rewarding carbon non-use - carbon-frugal consumers get an annual rebate
* Fee imposed at the source; carbon use can't be profitably shifted elsewhere
* Doesn't use the word "tax" : )

In your opinion, why isn't it getting more discussion?

7. "while still getting the benefits of reduced carbon emissions..."

Is there any scientific proof that a regional carbon tax will reduce global emissions of green house gasses?

Ironically, I'm more in the bottom Fox guy's camp on the job question. I've yet to see a solid explanation on how we can grow the economy (increase the velocity of capital/energy) while simultaneously reducing carbon emissions. The only difference is I care fuck all about the economy any more.

9. You did a good job, Steve.

Bolling's an effin' moron, man. Fuck his pathetic puppet ass. You batted him all the way outta the ballpark.

Kudos to ya.
