(8,601 posts)I'm thinking something "record breaking" will be happening almost yearly from here on out, just in the US. For the entire globe, it's gonna get messy quick.

There's really a better chance of being killed by a tornado or being struck by lightning...and given the combined typical death tolls of both types of disasters and the number of people who live in all 50 states....well, you can do the math, I suppose.
