Colombian Trade Unionists in DC This Week to discuss success of the "Labor Action Plan"

or lack thereof. Just because the US-Colombia FTA is in effect does not mean the workers do not need our help. Repressing labor is morally and economically wrong. How does it help to create jobs in Colombia that keep people in poverty? How does it help American workers to have to compete with jobs in which wages are artificially lower due to labor repression. It's lose-lose, except for the owners.
