Republicans complain non-stop about president Obama. I had a neighbor tell me the other day Bush wasn't so bad, but Obama is horrible. I asked him to name one thing Bush did a better job of than Obama. Of course he couldn't

5. Medicare prescription coverage

Yes a "giveaway to Big Pharma" but it did help a lot of seniors, like my parents. Both are gone now but without the Medicare prescription benefit they would have paid well over $1000/month for their meds.

7. The Problem Is Medicare Part D Was Not Paid For

Seniors needed the help, and it did help probably most seniors, but it was all with borrowed money.

Their kids and grand kids will have to pay the bill with interest.

If crushing the kids to help granny is good, well, you call it.

BTW after watching the Bill Moyers show on how they smashed this bill through congress, I then became involved in politics for the first time.

Democrats had zero input on this giveaway/handout/welfare to PHARMA.

Remember, no negotiating prices. They charge what they want, and we the tax payer can't say anything.

Proclaimed by Bush in 2007. Not sure how much credit he really should get, but at least he didn't oppose it. That's all I have.

I can't say everything Bush did was bad and be honest.

Being 100% honest is a personal thing.

Bush did do one good thing in 8 years.

Signing the bill making the Hawaiian preserve.

Maybe even a couple other good things, making the total 99 to 1.
